New Beginnings
I don't know how it has been for the rest of you, however, this December was busier for me than usual. There were art shows to attend where my art was featured, art shows to attend featuring work of my artist friends, seasonal plays and concerts, light displays, plus making gingerbread creatures with my grandchildren. We also squeezed in a dinner or two where we were able to host our good friends. There were not enough days in the month to do all that we wanted to do.
Christmas is over and the ringing in of the new year is just a few days away. My head is swimming with ideas for new paintings. I have several ideas for traditional paintings and a couple of ideas for new Shattered Reality paintings. I am looking forward to bringing the paints out, rolling up my shirt sleeves, and starting on a new watercolor.
I chose the painting "Long Lake Surprise" as an illustration for this blog because I already long for warmer temps and green plants.
I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year. May this be the year your dreams are realized.
